Skyward follows C148’s example to demonstrate how much you can achieve with a minimal chord progression, very slow build-up of instrumentation and a meditative, repetitive rhythm. Great for washing off a busy day!
Don’t Stop Running is this album’s equivalent of a single: most approachable, (almost) radio-compatible structure and sound texture. Despite that, it stays true to the album’s compositional style: minimal chord progression and a simple, repetitive rhythm to induce that trance feeling. Sweet!
